Delete Through the Contact Form
Follow these steps to delete your DoorDash account by contacting customer support:
- Go to https://help.doordash.com/consumers/s/contactsupport on your web browser.
- Fill out the Contact Us form with your full name, email, and phone number.
- Choose Account Settings for Category and None for Subcategory.
- Type Request to deactivate DoorDash account into the Description text box and click Submit.
- Wait for a response from DoorDash customer support. They may ask you for a valid reason for deleting your account and some other information.
- Follow the instructions from the representative to confirm your account deletion. You will receive an email confirmation once your account is deactivated.
How to Deactivate Your DashPass Subscription
Before you delete your DoorDash account, make sure you cancel your DashPass subscription first. Otherwise, you will still be charged for the monthly or yearly fee. You can cancel your DashPass subscription from the website or mobile app by following these steps:
- Open the DoorDash website or app and sign in to your account
- Tap or click on the account icon in the top left corner

Can I reactivate my account after deleting it?
You may reactivate a voluntarily deleted account by contacting DoorDash support. If deleted for deactivation, an appeal is required, and reactivation is not guaranteed. Creating a new account with the same details violates DoorDash terms.
